3. Remove the two screws on each side of the mounting bracket and take off the top brace.
4. Use the 1/4-inch nut driver to remove the four screws securing the front bulkhead.
5. Disconnect the moisture sensor plug by squeezing the locking tabs and pulling it apart.
6. Remove the 1/4-inch screw and the retainer bar at the bottom of the bulkhead.
7. Lift the bulkhead to disengage the hooks and remove it.
8. Push up the idler arm and release the belt from the idler and motor pulleys.
9. Spread the sides of the dryer slightly, lift the drum by the belt, and remove it.

Install the New Venting Kit

1. Use a punch and hammer to break down the six welded points on the vent plug and remove it.
2. Straighten any bends with pliers and smooth rough edges with a half-round file.
3. Loosen the clamp screw with a Phillips screwdriver and detach the vent hose from the dryer pipe.
4. Remove the 1/4-inch screw securing the vent tube clamp and slide the vent tube back to remove it.
5. Detach the vent ring by pressing down on its clips and pushing it out.
6. Block the rear opening with the metal cover provided in the kit.
7. Attach the 7.4-inch tube to the blower housing and secure it with a 1/4-inch screw using the nut driver.
8. Loosen the clamps with a 5/16-inch nut driver, slide them onto the pipes, and connect the elbow to the 12-inch pipe with the clamps.
9. Tighten all clamps securely with the nut driver.
10. Reposition the water valve wire using pliers, bending its terminal to the left.
11. Install the pre-assembled vent piece, position the clamp, and tighten it with the nut driver.
12. Snap the vent ring back into place.

Reassemble the Dryer

1. Lift the drum by the belt and position it onto the rollers.
2. Reattach the belt to the idler and motor pulleys.
3. Place the front bulkhead back onto the hooks and secure it with four 1/4-inch screws.
4. Reconnect the moisture sensor plug.
5. Reinstall the bottom brace and secure it with a 1/4-inch screw.
6. Reinstall the top brace and secure it with two short and two long 1/4-inch screws.
7. Hang the front panel onto the bottom screws and thread the door switch harness through the opening.
8. Secure the top of the panel with three 1/4-inch screws.
9. Reinstall the control board bracket and lock the harness retainer.
10. Secure the bracket with two screws and reattach the control panel assembly.
11. Slide the top panel forward and secure it with two screws at the back.
12. Reconnect the water lines and exhaust fan.
13. Turn on the gas supply for gas models.
14. Plug the dryer into the power outlet and run a test cycle to verify proper installation.
