Remove the Top Panel

1. Use a 1/4-inch nut driver to remove the three screws on the back of the top panel.
2. Pull the top panel back and lift it off the machine, then set it aside.

Remove the Console

3. Use a 1/4-inch nut driver to remove the three screws holding the control board.
4. Carefully rotate the control panel upward, keeping an eye on the wiring connected to it.

6. Use a 1/4-inch nut driver to remove the two screws holding the console in place.
7. Open the dryer door and flex the console towards you to release the tabs securing it.

8. Remove the lint screen and close the dryer door.
9. Use a 1/4-inch nut driver to remove the two screws securing the access panel.
10. Remove the duct by taking out the bracket mounting screw and the two top screws with a 1/4-inch nut driver.
11. Slide out the duct and disconnect the moisture sensor wiring harness with a flat-blade screwdriver.

Remove the Front Panel

12. Use a 1/4-inch nut driver to remove the two lower and two upper screws on the front panel.
13. Loosen the two front screws enough to pull off the front panel.
14. Detach the door switch wiring harness using a flat-blade screwdriver to release the tab.
15. Flip the control board upward and out of the way.
16. Remove the front panel completely.

Replace the Belt

17. Locate the idler pulley and pull it back to release the tension on the old belt.

28. Reconnect the ribbon cables to the control board and lock them into place.
29. Rotate the mounting panel into position and secure it with screws.
30. Place the top panel slightly behind the console, slide it forward under the tabs, and lock it into place.
31. Reattach the screws on the top panel.
32. Slide the lint filter back in and close the dryer door.
